Things to do
The island
Thulusdhoo is small enough to walk end to end in twenty minutes. What it lacks in size it makes up for in water — reef, lagoon, and ocean on every side.
Furaagandu
A tiny reef island sitting just off the north end of Thulusdhoo, connected by a bridge. The walk across takes less than a minute — though most people stop halfway, distracted by what's around them.
The channel between Furaagandu and the main island is one of the best swimming spots on the island. Be aware of strong currents at high tide — check conditions before getting in.
Open to everyone. No entry fee, no booking required.
On the water
The reef is the island's main attraction. Here's how to get into it.
The southside lagoon starting from Furaagandu is the best snorkelling on the island. Clear water, good visibility, accessible from the shore.
The channel between Furaagandu and the main island is the most popular swimming spot. Calm at low tide, strong current at high tide.

Day trips
Thulusdhoo makes a good base for exploring the wider atoll. Sandbanks, neighbouring islands, and more reef within an hour's boat ride.
